Cheers. Now waiting in Saigon airport for boarding in an hour, hoping the masses of peeps here will be getting on the Narita, the earlier flight from this gate. Spent last local wonga on stupidly priced water (certainly for VN) and first bar of chocolate since leaving HK almost 3 months ago.
Now just got to re-adjust to new traffic behaviour. It’s now officially driving on the left, unlike here where it’s unofficial, and motorbikes actually stop for red lights. Now that’s going to feel weird for a bit.
PS View out the window for any plane spotters.

Doesn't look like he has any intention of going home, he's off to Tokyo first.

If you’re going to do something, do it properly Looking forward to more instalments. Japan seems very popular recently, I’ve spoken to lots of people who have gone there, I also know 2 people who came home with Japanese wives - be very careful.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Not heading home quite yet.
Back in KL for a few days. It was only meant to be 3 nights but extended by one as flights to Hadena were stupidly cheaper delaying a day, paid for the extra night here, then some. I know it’s a bit daft heading SW to KL from HCMC instead of NE to Japan but we had this return flight booked before we went into Vietnam as Air Asia are very hot on seeing a flight out of a country before letting you fly there. They have a 100% record of checking with us. We were planning to go to Sabah on Borneo but after a good read on the security sitch where we wanted to go (Sandakan area), we changed our plans.
Meanwhile we’re back in the InterCont in KL, up on the 26th floor but that’s no longer an issue. It’s the club lounge rate/package but the lounge is being renovated and a bit of work on our floor so it’s a free mini bar for two days by way of compensation. Oh, and again we book the cheapest room & get upgraded to a very nice suite.
Not a lot of pic opportunities today, the best bring this little ‘un in the seat in front who was deffinately asking for being tickled and spent most of the two hour flight with either one or two feet behind her seat. At least she was in front and not behind, unlike the terrors that we had on one flight in VN that thought the tray table was for their amusement.

Pic of KLIA2, pretty good modern airport and then straight on to the express to KL with a prepurchased discounted QR code.

And after a soak/schnooze in the tub (05:30 wake up this morning) down for afternoon tea, and very nice it is too.

Planning what to do tomorrow, unfortunately a lot of rain & thunderstorms in the forecast. Maybe visit the Mission Impossible Building’s Malaysian Counsin, I’ve got that being stalked feeling!!

The weird looking building in KUL is the Telekom Malaysia building. Being a mobile network operator is a license to print money in most countries.

Well Digi MY needs to sort out it’s money making mechanism as I tried 3 different cards to put ~£2 on my local data SIM, and failed. They’ll need that -£2 some day.

It’s always worth it. Now that’s called really dicing with death.
Didn’t do a lot today, just walked up to the Petronas Towers area, wandered round the park, bit of shopping and generally slobbed. A few pics of tall buildings, none of which I have any desire to go up.
