Greenlanes around Guildford area
I've done a few green lanes around Norfolk when visiting friends and a couple of lanes when out camping, but nothing around my home town of Guildford, can anyone recommend anything.
My Norfolk friends are coming down in a couple of weeks in their Land Cruiser, so would be nice to show them around the local area, nothing too damaging or difficult (especially if they have to drive 300 miles to get home the next day).

There are loads of green lanes around Surrey and NE Hampshire. This is probably not the best time of year to use them though, without doing damage to the soft ground.
p.s is only 150 miles to Norfolk, where I live now, from where I used to live in NE Hampshire! (not far from Guildford) Richard

I live in Woking. I Can point you to a few lanes that you can do in a discovery (many are tight), however, I would rather point you to Salisbury Plain - less than an hour to an entry point from Guildford.
The other disco3club have a meet there on the 23rd November.
Alternatively, if you have facebook, check out the Salisbury Plain group:
On "the plain" there are many hundreds of miles of lanes.D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven
Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

Salisbury sounds good would have to skip this one (that's the day they are driving down), but certainly up for one another time. I'll have a look at Facebook group, thanks.
