Green Laning in Yorkshire |
|
This is a real stab in the dark but I thought I'd ask anyway....
I would like to do some green Laning and was wondering if there is anyone in the area maybe thinking of going for a drive this weekend? I don't know any of the routes or anything so was kind of hoping to go out with someone that does and in so doing start to get more involved in this.
Any advice or recommendations or invites will be greatly appreciated
Thanks Missplaced African

I occasionally organise a Disco forum run out in the dales. This was the last one http://www.disco4.com/forum/topic134601-75.html
I haven't got another one planned yet but might arrange something when the weather improves.
As Wollemi said, there's a few of us out this Sunday but I'm not organising this one so I don't know how many spaces are available. Sue who is organising it has been pointed to this thread. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Thank you very much for the responses everyone!
I have managed to sneak on to Sunday's outing and very much looking forward to it.\
JonM if you do arrange another outing I would be more than happy to join if you space and keep learning the ropes.

Well, that was a different day
Hopefully nrich will provide a full write up (with some photos from Will) after the big yellow taxi rescues him from the pub and gets him home....
Good to meet you Amossis, hope you had fun unfortunately, you missed some more "entertainment" after you left. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Just got back 10,o clock first time on big yellow taxi hopefully last it was like an episode of top gear every one left me in Hawes even my co-driver deserted me. After being the guinea pig testing depth of the water successfully, my n/s/f drive shaft broke eventually managed to limp it back to the road in rock crawl with a tow from Grahame (second one that day first incident down to co-driver distracting me and sliding off track bit) great day good job Jon had a pair of waffle boards also got to go and order some more parts now.

At least you didn't get a puncture this time! There are two rules for success,

I didn't take any photos. Just standing up in that wind and rain was challenging enough
nrich's co-pilot Will had the camera out quite a lot though. He might have captured the entertainment (if his camera didn't drowned by the rain). MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
