What about the damage to his vehicle? - surely having ran into the back of you with a Transit that must have come of worse and someone has got to pay for it (his insurance co.), pity you couldn't get a photo of it before it is repaired for evidence should you need it.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I have loads of photos of damage to mine, but his W reg tranny was in such a state, its hard to tell his damage , and it was a glancing blow. If it had been full square hit, given his speed, it would have been much worse.

Whey Hey - she's home
Looks like the repair place has done a good job as well - paintwork looks great.
Kia Soretento gone back - not a bad motor after a week of driving it - just to many acres of grey plastic for my liking.
Now to fit the Blackvue, and start the arguments with insurers to get my excess repaid to me.

So, latest after chasing up case log with Plod is square root of all - even though leaving the scene of an accident is an offence, as no one injured, its just filed as case for insurers to sort out.
Traffic plod told me there were 5 officers and 17000 reported collisions, so very unlikely any prosecution would be followed up.
I can see this one being stuck with my insurance, as he's bound to deny it. Is it possible to invoke a CCJ on the other driver to recover my excess, should it come to that? How would I get his details, would insurer share them if asked?

There is no reason for you not to speak to the Third Party Insurer and your own company should give you the phone number and claim reference.
Unfortunately, Insurers will send letters and diary it for a reply with not much happening inbetween.

Al....
Its a carbon copy of the one down here ..... with my friend ....
Mr Gupta denied his employee was driver his works van .....
Mr Gupta's insurance said they would not progress any claim .... as their driver was not involved...
Your own insurance then places all costs including rental of the vehicle against your claims history ...
The other driver didn't have a licence.... but luckily gave correct personal details .....
As an injury materialised .............
Police following a complaint of non action (due to an injury being involved) couldn't then help enough.....
Police went to see 3rd party and who then confessed under questioning and was prosecuted on 3 counts .....
All sorted ... no injury claim made .....
Justice done .... in all honesty its a game ....
If left they would have got away with it all ...... D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.
