| Great site, great resource for a newbie |

Just joined from down in NZ. What a great site - learnt so much already. Last week took delivery of our brand new D4 HSE which we ordered back in January. March build, then 6 weeks to get here. Driving it home from the showroom was a big disappointment. It vibrated, pulled to the left, and sounds much more diesely that I remember from when I drove the demo (which was late 2010!, so maybe I've forgotten) - when accelerating it sounds almost like a petrol engine 'pinking', only briefly though. Been back to the dealer 4 times in the first week for the pulling left & vibrating. It's my third Discovery now so not surprised, but disappointed to have these issues with a brand new one!
Always had a love hate relationship with my Discos and this ones no different!

I hope the dealer sorts that out for you, there's definately a problem there. My D4 is really quiet, no pinking and only pulls to the left when I'm staring at the D4's reflection in shop windows...oh and when I'm mowing down "hoodies" on the pavement.

Thought so, back to the dealer for the 5th time on Tuesday - they're struggling to believe me now with all these issues they're going "are you sure no one else has ever had these issues" probably because they've only sold 4 so far this year! Obviously you are no stranger to LR customer care but I would not stand for any of the problems you are experiencing when you have just spent that amount of money. Don't take any of their  and document all your problems. Club Exped trailer
