If you want a big warm versatile bag and don't mind spending a bit of money have a look at the some of the big carp fishing tackle makers.
I have a Trakker 365, comes with an extra liner so it can be used all year round. I slept out in the heavy winter we had a couple of years back no issues. If you get cold in one these you need to pack up and go home IID PRO

Ray, a few months ago I bought an Ajungilac 4 season bag.
Was always aware of the 2 x fills - down & synthetic.
So when reviewing my needs with the supplier they said that synthetic was the way to go for UK due to the wet/damp climate.
You've obviously gone for down (& spent more money on it) so what's your take on it.
Freezed my ballcocks off in my old bag when sleeping in the D3 a few years back at the bothy in Kielder, so finally got around to changing it for my overnight winter kayak trips, so just hoping it's up to it. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
Ron i always have down bags ever since Blacks had the Iceland way back in 60 tis way up to RAB bags then on the same tripe as you i was cold so i got this one made for me and i love it must admit not used it this last winter but the 2 before did -12/14 in my hammock up the wood we use no under blanket i do suppose it is up to each one what we have to spend and what we do . I am always out some where so i have the kit i don't use it in the trailer i use a rab bag -3 but even that's to warm in there .Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication ray@rld-tech.co.uk D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks
