Finally got my MY12 Sub Sahara Spec Disco 4 SDV6 HSE at home after collecting it from the export sales guys in London in July! Was a long 2 month wait as it was shipped from the UK out here. Thank god it arrived in one piece, the shippers did an excellent job!
Today whilst cleaning the car my guy noticed a slight crack on the trim plate under the main screen  . The crack is about 7mm and runs from the screen (90 degrees to the screen) outward towards the lip of the plate... so upset! I didn't really look too close when i got delivery of the car as i only had 2 days in it before shipping it so I am not sure if it was there upon delivery.
First question is, would it be something that could be replaced under warranty. (Problem is that there is a dealership dispute going on out here so not too sure if we have an actual delear at the moment)
Second question is, how easy is it to replace this trim plate, is it glued or clipped on and is it a part that one can order on it's own. I went for the upgrade from the walnut (standard on Sub Sahara HSE model) to the grand black lacquer which i think looks much better.

the trim bit just lifts up .
be aware that it was a stupidly expensive bit of trim from LR  G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thank god it looks relatively simple to replace.
Do you think it could be something that would be covered under warranty? Also any idea on the price and do they sell it as an individual piece or is it for all the plates...i.e. the doors, terrain response surround etc.
