Our satnav is displaying the GPS symbol with a line through it, yesterday in Whitby it thought we were in Bakewell which is only 150 ish milesaway. I've tried letting the car go to sleep & re-starting but it looks like a hardware fault to me. Any suggestions or is it a trip to the dealers?

OK I'll answer my own question, I've been into the "753" diagnostic screen & the gps is showing a fault code with the legend "GPS antenna short" so it looks like a trip to the dealers.

Possibly just a loose connection - the result of shoddy assembly. No doubt one-armed Les was the man on that part of the shift when yours was glued together.
