After eight days in a mini, I picked my D3 up this afternoon. It's good to have it back. 8)
New front N/S door is very shiny and smooth. Paint match is excellent, and they've replaced some of the plastic bits on the door. They've done a decent job of polishing out the Croisiere battle scars, and I just have a few tiny (but deep) ones here and there to remind me of the experience. Door handles, wing mirrors and wheel flares are still scratched to but I'm not bothered about that at all.
The car will be wrapped in cotton wool for a few months while the painful memory of the bill diminishes.
Back in to my 'other' dealer on Wednesday for EGR valve, injector, possible steering rack, and some software updates. At least this time I know I'm getting a D3 loaner.
