Have you got it all working yet love ?

Ok, so I fitted a blackvue 650 front and rear system along with power pro at the weekend. Now us real men don't need instructions do we...........which is just as well really because I've thrown them away !
Now I've managed to pair my mobile (android) and can access the control panel via this on wifi and replay journeys.
So I have some questions if you can help,

Cannot connect the iPad (won't find blackvue) what I'm I missing ?

On control panel what does N E P mean ?

Is there anything else that I may find useful or should know about, I really don't want swmbo to realise I don't know how it all works. (She would have a field day Rolling Eyes )

I'm sure I'll be back later with more questions and we'll keep this conversation between us hey Thumbs Up

On my ipad air I had to go into settings on the ioad and manually connect to the bv 650 wifi first. Then, once you have this wifi saved you can access it through the app.

Here's a link to the manuals. Just in case you feel the urge to cheat http://blackvueshop.co.uk/support/manuals/

As he said above! Couldn't type that fast!

I found mine wouldn't pair with my iPad initially using the direct wifi method using the Blackvue software...I have to come out onto the iPad settings icon and search for wifi devices in the normal way... Once it's found the blackvue press to pair.... The password is Blackvue.....
Once it's paired that way go back into the blackvue software and select the wifi connection and hopefully hey presto and you should be linked......Providing at first you have made sure that the wifi is actually switched on on the camera! There should be a blue wifi light on the end of the camera...and it can be switched on and off using the little push button on the end!

"YOU GUYS" Very Happy Very Happy

Her faith in my "MAN" powers will never need be in doubt !

I thank you - Will, Bodsy, Tayaste, Chalky and Russell with forums like this I can still smile when my son says "we don't need these instructions do we dad" Basically the manual connecting as you say sorted most things and I now have the menu I needed for everything Thumbs Up

I can hear it now (chatting to her friends this weekend) " He's amazing with all this technical stuff, it's like he seems to be at one with all machinery" followed by replies of " God you are soooo lucky, my husbands a moron "

Off now for a Manwich, Beer and watch the Football - Cheers lads

"Great minds and all that Sir"

You managed to dodge the Corris bullet too then, Causeway owners definitely appear to be a lot higher on the food chain.

Basically the way I see it Chalky, you and I are pretty much top of the hierarchy on here right now !

"take it easy brother" Thumbs Up
