Goodyear Wrangler all terrain adventure with Kevlar.

Hi All,

Thinking of going for a set 255/55/19 as per title for my D4. Haven't heard much about them only that they come standard on some of the new defenders.

Don't want to go with duratracs as i think they would be too loud for the daily commute and long trips. These look like a middle-ground between the wrangler Hp and the Duratracs.

All advice welcome.

I recently got a set as the duratracs i wanted were out of stock. They aren't as aggressive as duratracs, but i have been happy enough so far with some mild green laning.

Can't say I have noticed any road noise above the standard road tyres that were on when I brought it.

£130.36 per tyre fully fitted from F1 Autocentres.

I find the price fluctuates a lot week to week though, I can see now they are listed for £147.95, but with a discount of £20.30 a tyre when buying 4 or more, so actually a bit cheaper with the discount at £127.65.

I fitted a set of these back in July. Really impressed with them, no noticeable road noise and they seem to be good in wet fields. Not used them properly off road yet but I hopeful. I paid £126 a corner fitted. 2015 D4 SE Tech

Have been looking at these exact tyres tonight myself, only as 255/60 20’s... does anyone know if there are any fitment issues with these tyres at 60s as opposed to the normal 55s?? Question cheers, Steven.

I don’t notice any noise from Duratracs. Not any different from the GG ATs I had previously anyway!
