IWhat are the standard wheel and tyre sizes? and I'm trying to work out if it's possible to go up a size or 2 in tyre diameter?
Simon,
You won't be able to fit a 2" increase in tyre diameter in the spare wheel well. I've heard of people going up to 1.5" with Nitto tyres and this doen't fit in the spare spot and just clears the suspension parts and inner guards.

Silverline are £400 less than Bronco too, Bronco are offering £1700 for 4 alloys & the Goodyears.......................... The Alloys that Bronco are supplying look way too nice/Bling to be using offroad too. I think they will be very difficult to clean as well, here is what Bronco supply with 19" MTR's

S (TDV6 or V6) have 235/70R17
SE/HSE (TDV6) have 255/60R18 (I think also the same size for V8 SE)
HSE (V8) have 255/55R19
The Nittos that the US guys fit are 265/65R18. This is about 802mm (or 31.6") Diameter. The 255/60R18 and 255/55/19 is 763mm (or 30") diameter.
Sorry Ken for digressing on your thread.

I've just fitted 265/70R17 BFG A/t's but as Chris said I can't fit the spare under the car even by taking out the exhaust shield. Not a problem though, I am very happy with the extra clearance and performance off road.
Just gotta wait for the RWC's to hit the market.

It's good to hear they fit okay, shame the BFG Mud-Terrains aren't available in that size too. Grabber AT2s are available in the same size though and they have a higher load and speed rating than the BFGsThe End

I thought they were running 285/60/18 Nittos? Which is 799mm. And there was at least one on 285/65/18 BFG ATs (828mm), which required a little panel work at the front to fit. If you can get Mickey Thompson tyres in the UK, they are doing a 265/70/17 mud radial (the MTZ, at 810mm), which is being released here in Oz around June-July.
