I once made the mistake of visiting Halfords for MOT. They failed my old D3 on several things including most of the suspension components. Mick (Flack) had replaced everything suspension related with quality parts from Advance Factors 18 months previously, there was absolutely nothing wrong. Even the other minor faults (headlight aim was one) turned out to be wrong when I took it for a second opinion).

I just couldn't bear somebody else working on mine, I know exactly what's been done, spotted any potential issues and saved a huge amount of cashAndrew

things DO change. I believe that TWO of our local KWIK-FIT places are getting good reviews for 4 Wheel Alignment !
I’ve had all my cars Mot’d at KF for years with a problem and had four wheel alignment on the sport done and they adjusted the rear toe, which hopefully will cure the offside rear tyre ware, f&r n/s camber was out a bit on the report though?
Cured low AC pressure fault also.Steve
