Going going gone
Have reluctantly decided that I can't keep the G4 it is an awesome machine no doubt about it but the running costs of a V8 are just too high. I knew it would be thirsty before I bought it and stupidly decided to press on regardless. LPG conversion is too expensive to justify as I don't keep cars long enough.
I really regret selling the TDV6 now but what is done is done so I am taking advantage of the Land Rover '30-Day exchange' promise and handing it back. There are no D3's available in stock so am taking a new Freelander 2 TD4 SE.
Will stay with the forum though and will be out and about at the events seeing what the FL2 can do!
Will be interested to see how you get on with the FL2 in the gloopy stuff. Don't forget to fit an expo rack and winch at the first opportunity to stick a slightly smaller two fingers up at the nay-sayers at your work who pohh-poohed the G4 I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I saw how capable the FL2 was in the mud at Eastnor Castle last week. I was really surprised at where it could go.
