My God they do drive well. |

My God they do drive well.
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but it is a bit of all things, including spotting.
Driving up the M5 minding my own business. Up they come, 2 D3’s and away they go. Black HSE and Silver S. What wonderful looking beasts.
So I pull in to the service area to check were the local L.R dealer is. (One last try) The RAC guy points me in the right direction. I was just about to leave when I spot another D3 HSE …in ORANGE!!! It had trade plates and the driver was fast asleep but nearby was a local cement company lorry also in ORANGE. I’m in the wrong business.
Got to the dealer and found them very helpful and as they had a manual on the forecourt, of we went. GREAT, wonderful drive.
Back at the showroom we had a nice long chat about an ex. Demo but then I asked about a few reported faults. Big Mistake
How can people say that, as sales personnel they do not hear of any faults and they are sure that any early prob’s with the suspension are sorted.
I have decided that, even following all my past comments, I WANT ONE.
I then got home and logged on to find

Not seen the haveyoursay site before, seems a bit mixed with some sensible comments, but still a bit 'American' (no offence!) to start up a web site dedicated to negative PR.
Pip, I too was hugely impressed by the D3 when I drove one a few weeks ago, can't wait to get another go. Just wish I could afford to buy one 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Orange…..yep!
Boy it looked odd.
It seemed very basic from the front. It did not have the mat black corners and there were 4 small disc shapes cut into the front skirt, 2 either side of the number plate. No addons at all. It was only when you looked at the rear that HSE stood out.
I’ll just say it looked very NAFF. It’s a pity the driver was asleep. It was north bound (looking for some were to hide)
in answer to your other comment
After driving one, how can you not want one.

My wallet seems to be stuck to my pocket. It's the Yorkshire blood you know.
If the demo D3 s comes down a bit, it's chocks away

When you get the D3, notice WHEN is it all round to your restaurant for a D3 meal?

The accountant say's
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU UP TO, WHERE'S MY MONEY.
I think a meal could turn into a little picnic on a free beach.
Always fancied 4 wheeling through sand and sea.
The accountant has a posh Subaru sporty thing, so he's not invited...mind you ..accountant lost at sea sounds good.

There seems to be a very strong link between 's and Disco 3's
Maybe the 's have psychic abilities and we just have to buy Disco 3's no matter how strongly we try and resist....
Cheers,

Just looked out of the window and spotted 2 more, both towing Ifor horse boxes. Silver SE and a funny muddy green HSE.
Pity the que moved on pretty quickly or it would have been a bit of third degree on the drivers. (No traffic jams when you need one)
