Glow plug light on all the time

Started today .. While the car is awake / running .. The glow plug light is illuminated .

No faults showing .

Not opened the bonnet yet or done hard reset .. Just thought if see if any one else has had this issue

The ECM monitors the drive circuit of the glow plug relays for plausibility of operation, continuity, and short and open circuits. If a fault is detected, the ECM stores a related fault code and permanently illuminates the glow plug indicator while the ignition switch is in position II.

But no fault code?

I'd check the harnesses on top of the engine then.

I had seen this once before, after reflashing a module with Autologic. Can't remember the outcome though Embarassed

Ok .. Unlocked the car this morning .. Glow plug light lit up again .

Plugged in faultmate .. Not codes .

Started engine .. Then the light went out .

Stopped engine .. Started .. All working fine again Shocked

Checked all leads under bonnet .. All ok

Another one of those "Land Rover " moments Laughing
