Glow plug dash light colour?? |
|
Hi all,
Quick question - what colour is the glow plug dashboard indicator light on a D3 suppose to be? The one on my 09 TDV6 doesn't seem to light up at engine start so I can't check it. Is this normal in a summer (i.e. temp high so glow plugs not used)?
I ask because it appears to flash on very briefly at the same time I get a random 'bong' when driving along. It's there for just a split second and I''m sure it lights up red! Thought it was the seatbelt warning light but it's definately to the left of that and it does it with a passenger on board.
Cheers,

Yellow, and it's shown for variable amounts of time depending on ambient temperature. Not seen mine for the past few weeks either Faultmate MSV2 EXTREME

Hmmm!. I would have thought that it would have illuminated at least momentarily, to show that the indicator was working.
Thoughts anyone?
