Global window close not working

Shortly after taking delivery of my new D4 I was reading the manual and came across the bit about closing all the windows by holding the lock button on the key fob down for 3 secs. Great feature when you have 4 kids who always leave at least one rear window down. Surprise, surprise, it didn't work, but global window opening did. Contacted dealer who tested two in the showroom with same result. We're all now wondering whether this is some weird ADR (Australian Design Requirement) nonsense to prevent kiddies decapitating themselves or something. Has anyone else come across this and is it a fault or deliberate?
Cheers
