Glass Roof HSE

I have cracked the glass rear roof on my D3 HSE. I have tried Autoglass and some other car glass suppliers/fitters and they say they cannot or will not replace. Has anyone else had to replace their glass roof - if so who replaced it and any idea of cost?[/b]

We had one in at work that was replaced by an independant windscreen company, used genuine parts.

mine was replace about 3 years ago - cost in the region of £659 - dealer arranged the work as its a specialist job that the mobiles etc dont do - all the headlining, wiring etc has to come out - best to get a dealer to do it... Duncan

I have now got the roof replaced by the main dealer.
£390 + VAT for glass
£960 Fitting + VAT

£1350 + VAT an expensive event

Non of the glass companies would do it.
Insurance co put through as an accident claim (would not do it as a glass claim)
