Some GIT Nicked My mirror cover.
Can't believe it, parked up last week for an hour, came back to my D4 and some GIT had nicked the soddin cover off the nearside mirror , and on ordering replacement only comes primed, £30 for that, then £20 for the mettallic 2 pack paint and pay the painter to spray it , not much change out of a ton Didn't realise how easy they came off and on, new one is being siliconed on. They are for sale on fleabay, most colours and cover top and bottom of mirror (not just half as normal) for £90 plus £8 or so post, and that is for two

I didn't know if yours were the half covers, it's an opportunity to upgrade to full and get two for what you may have to pay for one and all the hassle of getting it painted.

Sharkysharks...any chance you could post the part number for the individual mirror cover.. my dealer is adamant that they only come in pairs

NI DISCO3 The part number on the box is different from that of Martin's it is, LR01 9962 and this was the nearside upper, this is for a D4 I don't know if D4 and D3 mirrors are the same, but they certainly look alike, hope this is some help, sorry for the delay in replying,

Thanks guys for posting the part numbers.. seems they are for the same thing, got a primed cover on order now from the dealer who was adamant they couldn't be supplied separately
