SWMBO thought the D3 was ugly until we got one. How the wheels turn when you have one.
What is the point of an X5? What is it best at? not the best road car, not the best on secondary roads, not the best off road. The only point is to say you have a BMW, look me too, too, too. Only talking about the X series so those who have others 1 to 7 series don't shoot me. I nearly bought a 320d as a second vehicle for around town use. Ended up ordering an Eos Tdi instead.06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

I think a lot of people who see the D3 for the first time don't rate it's aesthetics.
We bought it for utility rather than style and I was certainly not sure of it's backside when we did, in late 2004.
However you soon realise that it's a very good looking car and no other vehicle I know of can be so simple yet so pleasing. So, Sidney, I reckon she'll come round 2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Same as you DT, SWMBO didn't like the D3, preferring an RRS even after 10 year of D1/2 ownership.
Glad to say now we have a D3 she likes it - which is a good job.
