I just open the boot and stand on the drop down door to reach and load the top box.

think they do a 800mm one for about £35 Question

don't want to drag this Off Topic, but think this is the platform length not the height, I have looked at 3 of these lately (Screwfix/Costco/B&Q) and none of them actually state the height. Looking at the reviews I think they give you a 50 cm lift.

Edit: found a review the longer one also appears to be 10 cm taller @ 60 cm.

The answer is dead simple. Stand on top of the rear tyre Thumbs Up I am not very tall, and it works for me.

I tried looking for one of these last year as had the same problem reaching into the topbox.could not find one that had the hieght and depth for the wheels though.

As Gareth says, stand with 1 foot on rear tyre and gingerly put other foot on inside of rear door whilst open.

Job done.

Try these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Slim-Mini-St...amp;sr=1-1

50cm high and fold perfectly flat. These don't take up much space when stored in the back.
