Sounds like you're talking about the fermented fish that is a delicacy in Sweden. I tried to find some when I went over to Gothenberg but no one stocked it.

Having sold over 9 million bottles in the last 5 years in Denmark, Fisk Vodka provides a completely unique taste that everyone knows and loves, but no-one expects.
Made from an intriguing blend of eucalyptus, liquorice, and premium 30% vodka, Fisk provides an incredibly smooth and refreshing taste to inject a breath of fresh air into the drinks market.
Fisk is best served chilled as a shot, or lengthened with cola or lemonade.
Or simply swigged from the bottle sat around the fire

I see it was launched in the UK on a trial basis in Scotland and in very few establishments. Apparently it is a 'shot' type drink or more commonly called a 'bomb'. Rare as hen's teeth to track down to buy in the UK but very popular in Thailand plus most of Western Europe. Why are we in the UK not allowed to buy it?
