My Disco 3 has a problem shifting to position D. Sometimes it is like its placed in position N. Then when i pull the gearlever back, it is able to drive, but when i stop holding the gearlever back, then the car stops driving. Is there a cable, which has to be ajusted.
Is it ok to drive the car holding the gearshifter back, or am i doing any damage to the gearbox.
Best regards

Renewed the gearleverarm today. Easy job. Great result. 1,5 hour-job. Price about 30 £. Now the gearlever works like a new one. Calle - disguised as adult.
