gearbox undertray not fitting
Hi all,
When I bought the motor, I didn't notice it hadn't got the undertray covering the gear box as I didn't know it had one. I've since bought one from here and all the holes line up but it just doesn't seem to fit...
I'm either doing something very wrong or it's had work done on the exhaust and that is now stopping it from fitting?
Can someone post a photo of the underside of their D4 to show me how if should fit please.
Many thanks

Ah, How do I find out which is the right one?
I figured they were the same standard fit, so bought one from a chap on here. The holes line up, but the exhaust seems to get in the way where it crosses by the gearbox.

The horizontal moulded hump would fit where my exhaust pipe runs, so that makes sense why the one I have doesn't fit.
Thanks again Oswiperus.
Anyone got one spare?

Hello Os, do you happen to know if the D3 and the Range Rover Sport of similar year, share the same Gearbox Undertray pattern? They look very similar, both with hole layout, exhaust bulge, and plastic moulding. But I think I can detect some very slight differences in the moulding, and I won't know if the bolt hole pitches are actually very slightly different.
I've scoured the online marketplace and I only see a RRS undertray. I have a D3.
Thanks!

Excellent intel thank you! Yes they do look the same, despite different camera angles when trying to compare them, D3 to RRS. Certainly at least, D4 and D3 are very obviously different.
I have an enquiry with Land Rover Used Spares right now, for a D3 or RRS undertray. They are on the hunt for me.

Hi Jamez79,
At the risk of taking advantage of your situation, I could be interested in buying the cover from you. I have a D3 and mine is missing. Happy for you to pm me a price if so.

What is the part number of the D3 under gearbox tray (just noticed that it is missing on my vehicle)?
