I did get some feed back from ZF, oil is R200/lt, excl vat, and they
also do the double flush service in house for +/- R2500, but no
filter change. They were not to keen to part with the service cost at
first, and questioning me as to why I need this, there conclusion was
to leave it alone if nothing was wrong with it. From their experience
with boxes over +/- 120000km, the viscosity change in the oil shows
up the wear on the clutches and other components and ends up as
a rebuild So the term "sealed for life" has some meaning
after all, not a pretty picture for the used car market. If you
took your D3 to them, they remove the box, rebuild it, re-fit and
test for R31500, with a one year unlimited km guarantee
wonder what the steelers would charge D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.
