Gearbox snatching 1st gear

Hi, does anyone know about this issue please? Mainly when coming to junctions and just trickling up to the line. Unless I actually stop for a couple of seconds, when I go to pull away it snatches 1st gear and I get a helluva bang though the driveline.
05 plate V8 HSE auto.

Thanks

Dom

I think that fits the symptoms exactly. Does this mean a trip to the dealer then? I assume this is a flash of the software in the gearbox and engine ECU's
Thanks
