Hi Mike - not sure if it does! There is no recall in Australia for it. Maybe the rough treatment when offroad - some might say "violent" - shaking it gets during this failure is triggering it? 8) (It only happens in extreme offroad conditions in my case).

A good lead though - I might just swap it out to be sure.

Edit: Urgh.. just looked up the effort in changing LR009793 with a new one! Shocked

I think the issue with my D4 is different to the P080 recall problem, because when mine stalls - it also sets the time/date back to factory default (01/01/2009).
