Dealer phoned me earlier, my shiny new Disco is ready and waiting so I should be behind the wheel by 9:30 tomorrow morning.
All being well I can see myself taking a run up the M40 on Sunday

Those who are due to be at Gaydon, if you fancy a mini forum meet-up, let me know. I have PM'd my mobile number to those who said they're due to be there Smile

Keep an eye out for my 90:

I should be in or around it - if not my mobile number should be in the screen. It's got silver www.web-rover.co.uk stickers on the rollcage, and will have an orange DISCO3.CO.UK sticker in the windscreen as well. 8)

My personal preference is for a meet up at about 12 ish? Gives me time to wander about for a bit after I get there. Anyway, I'm sure it'll pan out ok Smile

Hi guys, went to the Gaydon show, met Martin and a couple of the guys. Yes, I did turn up in the Suzuki Jimny as promissed, much to my other halfs embarrasment Embarassed . As a result there were no electrical faults or breakdowns. Good to meet our webmaster and host. Thanks for your time especially as you were an entrant. Sun brilliant and good to put faces to names. Some useful info came out of the meeting we had. Also met scorpio and 2 others. Really did like the LR 90 Martin.

Perhaps we could have a real DISCO3 meet at the Billing show in July because there is something for everyone there. Boats, caravans, fun fair and of course the biggest LR show in europe?

Good to meet you today Martin and Brian

Billing would be a good opportunity to arrange a larger gathering,

Good to see Brian (BN) and Simon (Slimer) - and sorry I missed Russell (DiscoMad) and Peter (Scorpio), just ran out of time to go and see people as I had to get back to Cambridge Sad Did manage to get a sunburnt neck, the joys of a topless Defender eh? Laughing

Found Scorpio's D3 - very very smart in Buckingham Blue, have got a photo which is in my gallery somewhere 8) It's the one on the left (I think) but difficult to tell it apart from the black one (which I think was a LR owned car?)

Glad I managed to find your D3 with the flyer Russell Smile

Sorry it was all a bit disorganised, have got a lot on with work at the minute, but will clear in a week and a half and will get organising a DISCO3.CO.UK forum meet up for Billing and beyond Wink

Funny you should say about the computer BN Smile

I don't know if you know, but I fitted a Td5 (and the ECUs) to my 90 3 summers back - fortunately the lights still work through good old switches Very Happy
