Gap location aware lock screen button

I used the iid tool last week, and since then when I'm in the car I've noticed that the Gap logo is on the lock screen. I have never noticed it before. The question is how does it know I'm in the Land Rover. The BMW can be parked next to it and i leave home in it and no logo. Anyone else noticed this? I did a search but can't find no mention of it.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. Got a picture?

She's away in the LR, this site shows the app's displayed and explains what I'm talking about.

I can't be the only person to has experienced this.

If I understand correctly - I think its just Apple being clever in the new IOS - is this what you are seeing -

It must pick up you are in the car from BT and assume you want to use iid perhaps?

So your saying it reads I'm in the car by the fact that the Bluetooth module for the phone is sending a signal?

That's exactly right. It's location-aware App suggestions. You can turn this off in Settings / General / Handoff & Suggested Apps

It's probably because it's paired with the car. Suggestions are based on location and historic App usage at that location ____

That must be it that it's paired to the car Thumbs Up

It's new but as it's always been paired to the car, and the last apple update was some time ago and I have not changed any settings in the phone.

It's not a problem just wondered if anyone else had noticed it as I hadn't up until last week.
