Gap iid tool Cylinder balancing

Are trying to figure out cylinder balancing on my D3 2005 with the 2,7 tdv6 engine.
I have tried to read some posts but are qonfused since there apears to be two different ways here depending on witch brand of obd tools that are used.
I have the Gap iid tool with Blue tooth so the question are is the injector number corresponding to the cylinder number so when i have a high reading on fks injector 2 it realy means that this injector sits in cylinder 2 physicaly and so on.
I wouldent start to change injectors based on wrong infos as they are 150 pounds each.
My D3 has 220 000 km on the clock.
Thanks

Thanks Breg90 But dont really give the full answer here.
Some manufacturers to avoid the misunderstanding about injectors and cylinders have numbered injectors to correspond to cylinders.
So i would like to know if the Gap has gone fore the less confusing injector 1 is cylinder 1 and injector 2 is cylinder 2 and so on.

The other post has the cylinder and injector numbers explained. Cylinder and injector numbers do not match

And you need to set out the injectors in firing order to understand what’s going on

Brilliant Breg90 i just set out the injectors and it hit the 1400(max adjusting factor) mark at once to try compensate fore the missing injector
Conclusion is that it follows injector firing order and dosent match cylinder numbers exept for cylinder 1 and 6 witch are the same anyway.
Saved me some quid here.
Thanks 🤓
