Gap iid tool
Hi All.
I have a Gap - iid tool. Bought approx 3.5 years ago. works as it should.
It reads and clears faults as it should, and that's in a nutshell all I do with it.
However, pondering, should it be updated every now and again?
As we we do with our phones and pc's etc.etc.
I have my phones, pc's, iPads etc.etc set to update themselves. (Latest version).
What about the iid tool????
Anyone.

always update firmware to latest unless you require custom firmware for flashing

I have the app on my PC and plug the IID in for updates every now and then. So yes, you can do it and probably recommended. Having said that I’ve never read any detail of what’s in the updates or noticed any changes on the tool.Gary
