Picked up one of these at a silly price a month ago, reveals a lot more than I was expecting, how many miles since last regen etc, has the facility to force a regen but its very very harsh on the engine, not something I’d want to do unless absolutely necessary.

That sounds great.
I was going to bring this up a couple of days ago.
I had the message "DPF Full" this morning, luckily I was able to clear it with the usual motorway drive, but I had other times that I had to borrow the dealer tool to force it.
The dealer closed down last year so it now becomes very important to have it on the IIDTool for me.
Looking forward to it.

Is it possible to look at regen info using the IID? ie, when last regen occurred, how many miles to next etc?
ThanksGary

DPF Re-gen
I have used Gaps updated re-gen for dpf and it worked very well for me. Mine was on a Red warning light after maf faults (dont drive a D4 with yellow warnings) 69grams of soot was burnt out back to under 6 in a couple of hours driving up the motorway. Yes, I have the latest software, I will into it, thank you.
Yesterday I was able to clear the DPF full message by driving few Km of motorway, luckily I already had that trip planned anyway.
