Sometimes I want to put pics up that are not really part of "my" gallery. For example, we were talking about white cars so I posted a pic of one I thought was cool. Don't really want that as part of "my" gallery just cause I posted it.
An automatic resize would also be great
I think this for me would be two nice benefits of any new system. Pretty happy with the system apart from that. Wouldn't want it to be seen as a big deal though, just responding to the question.<*(((<<

The possibility to move a photo from one album to another album would be good.
If this is already possible could someone enlighten me.

Can we have an iPhone upload feature? i.e. on Facebook, I can upload a photo from my iPhone, but there is no way to upload photo's from an iPhone to my Gallery.
Being able to select multiple images to upload instead of having to select individual images each time.
There's more and more mobile iPhone users using the internet. Perhaps Martin (just out of curiosity) you know the breakdown of web browsers used & how much iphone usage has increased on the site?Bodsys Brake Bible

it stumps me! (But im not exactly "IT Compliant")
it would be nice if we could simply ad a pic from our own pc photo file direct into the forum as we post...
ie by doing something like.....
\ IMAGE[photo Disco in farmyard 2 18 2 2009]
and the pic would appear here in the thread.....wife has seen it in other sites (ancestry and local photo ones)
it would help sme of us "Grumpy old men".....(who me????)

How about if the site automatically resized pictures uploaded so they are all a stand size (pixels and MB). Unless you ticked a box to make them non standard for a particluar reason, such as non standard shape or document etc.
+ the ability to tag a picture, so if you wanted to see pictures of black d3's with RAI and A-bar, you could search for pictures and click/tick in a box for A-bar, RAI, Black.

The only pprob I can forsee is ....If we all put more pics into the forums here they will get longer and take up more spance in the band width (see IM Picking up IT speak already!!! ) so wont that cost the site more money to run????

It is if you make donations periodically I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Just a(nother) thought
We currently have site sponsors etc who make contributions presumably financially to Martin towards the running of the site.
If Martin created (might not even be possible) a new status of site supporter for which you gave a £1 per month (could be more or less) donation in addition to anything else you might give to the site, Assuming enough people took up the option would that be enough to buy better servers and bandwidth to speed things up when it gets busy. you could perhaps limit the gallery size for non site supporters to incentivise contribution.
Just me spouting out loud, what does anyone else think I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I'm also a member of a forum for Ford Fiesta's, and you can get paid subscriptions to access features on the site such as galleries, events, etc. Seems like a good idea to me!Ben

That would mean removing features for most visitors - not keen on that.
