G4 Underbody Protection

Anyone fitted this LR after kit ? ( photos Wink )
Is it substantial like Asfir ?
What components do you get ?

We can't get Asfir for D3 here.

England 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

Look for Mantec under group buys. Thumbs Up Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Wasn't the Mantec group buys just sump plate without transmission and rear part protection ?
I was wondering if there are more plates involved in the G4 kit ?

I’ve just bought but not yet fitted the ASFIR gear Skid plate (Pt No: 29-539061) and rear diff Skid plate (Pt No: 29-539056) I can let you know how it went, later on. 8) Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Sorry Neil my post doesn’t explain properly, I mentioned the ASFIR gear and diff skid plate as I’m lead to believe it’s an imperfect (particularly the diff plate) solution, albeit a cheep one, so although you cant get it, it may not suite your needs anyway. Thumbs Up

Discocuzzy, the LR one (winch version) is (I believe) made by Mantec and essentially is the Mantec one, however LR (I believe) charge a lot more, one of the others should be along soon to clarify this. Confused Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Just sent a email to both Nick and Mantec.
For 1 0ff the LR option is 30 quid more, however they are in stock, Mantec are 4 week lead time.

However...mantec quoted good prices for a bulk buy..group buy no 5 coming me thinks! Thumbs Up

I may go for the LR one though as i need it for Salisbury.

They are different plates

LR (winch) version will fit without a winch but you'll have to cut away a chunk of bumper (which you'd have to do anyway to fit the LR winch kit)
Mantec (non-winch apparently now sold by LR too with an extortionate mark-up) version will fit without any cutting of the bumper The End
