So I find a D4 that looks nice and I can afford, from a LR dealer. Check with them its still available and book an appointment for the very next day.
Bundle the kids and wife into the car and drive 1.5 hrs to see it... when I arrive told its SOLD.
In fact it sold three days ago.... very apologetic and happy to show me a similar one that is £17k more!
Even as I write this its still showing as available on their website and the official LR website. And this is from a supposedly reputable dealership.
So frustrated and angry.

Its a ploy not unique to that garage. Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

funnily enough another harwoods branch have done somethign similar to me. However i had reserved my car yet it was still showing online for over a week until they had me approved for finance. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for my current car to sell so cant pick up the Disovery yet

I'm 10 minutes away from them and over the past 12 years I've bought 1 Freelander, 4 Discovery's & 3 Range Rovers and NONE of them have come from there!
