Since referencing Wikipedia is frowned upon I’ll just say that according to the internet there’s is a dispute whether or not the first fries were cooked by the French.
Similarly, the hamburger might not originate in Hamburg. Then again it might. Same thing.
And a pizza in Italy isn’t the same as one made at Domino’s.

Ah, but it’s not where they were first made, it’s where they were named French Fries that I was eluding to.
And I really like Campari Orange, esp when I’m not paying for them.
And a pizza in Italy isn’t the same as one made at Domino’s.
As it happens, there is evidence that the English were making 'pizzas' before the Italians. We were (are) lazy who like bread and like edible plates. Roast swan pizza, hmmm....
