I'll try to post a pic of my - err - rear end tonight. - I never thought I'd post that on a forum. Shocked
The only mod on the rear is the OEM ladder, a Prospeed rack is on its way, eta next week!

The tires are General Grabber AT 255/55R19, I was positively surprised by these tires, very good!
The wheels are something my local tire dealer found: Stormer #170 ET53 9x19, I'm not sure who actually manufacture them but they are not original parts.

I didn't really have a proper picture of the rear end, but here is one in proper conditions at least:

How does it compare with the RLD sump plate? Pros & cons?
 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)
2009 D4 HSE TDV6, Bali blue (first run D4)
2007 RRS TDV8 HSE, some blue

I have not really seen the RLD version. He did not have a D4 version ready at the time when I ordered the Rasta kit, perhaps someone else on this forum have checked out both versions.

From the few pictures I've glanced his version is one piece for both bumper shield and sump guard, the Rasta kit is two different parts. I do not know how thick goods he uses but I assume they are as solid as you'll ever need and being one piece probably tougher than the Rasta solution with two pieces. I'm really just guessing here and hope someone will step inn and correct any faults in my assumptions.

I have tried the <edit> sump guard on the D4, it is a very solid kit and easier to fit, it gives excellent protection to the sump and lower bumper, it also covers the frame but gives no protection for the radiators. It is also heavier than the Rasta kit.

In the Rasta kit the sump plate and bumper shield are two different parts, it is therefore possible to have a sump plate but no bumper protection. The Rasta kit gives plenty of protection to the important parts but expose the frame itself - as seen on the pictures in the first post - this is a trade off as it gives 1 or 2 cm more ground clearance in front. The bumper shield reaches higher up on the front and have a larger cut out for the recovery eye, which I like, but the other kit is not lacking in this area.

The option to add a separate radiator protection kit is appreciated but it might be possible to combine that kit with other sump plates as well.

The only reason why I changed from the <edit> sump guard to the Rasta version is that it was not compliant with the gearbox and transfer plates I bought from Rasta.

Apologize to revive an old thread, but wanter to know , why OEM engine plate was not compatible with a RASTA gearbox guard?
Was the OEM steel sump guard redesigned after Disco3 , for D4 or it is the same plate as it is on D3 ,it just won't fit with conjunction of Rasta4x4 geargox cover?

The reason I am asking is ,I just bought the last gearbox /T-case plate on clearance , so I can't turn it back and I still have a steel OEM engine plate, could not buy Rasta under engine plate anymore in US anymore.
Are these both incompatible?
