Good morning gents and thankyou for accepting me in the forum, I’m currently a disco 2 owner , and a 3 as of now , the wife’s decision for the 3 but if any clued up gents could help me I’d be very grateful, I bought the discovery 3 as a none runner fuel pump and starter motor , supposedly gone , oh and suspension dropped 🙈 brave I know lol . The seller stated it were running fine while off roaming but then cut out and burned starter motor out trying to get it running , so first things first battery installed and no buzzing at the in tank pump , new pump ordered not the unit just the pump , fitted and working not by me I must say , then I fitted a recon starter motor pressurised the system , boom running straight away after around 5 mins I get engine system fault codes read P2288 fuel injector pressure to high turned her off left her a while cleared codes restarted no codes , then 5 mins later same again p2288 . So changed filter only a Brit part one cleared codes engine ran beautiful for around ten mins once warm again p2288 could anyone shed some valuable information please run some diagnostics and here’s what I got on tick over
