Fuel pipe / hose quick connect broken

Hello,

Anyone find a solution to broken quick connect fuel hoses? The hose and fitting is fine, just the "button" plastic breaks. I dont want to replace the whole hose! Anyone find a source for just the plastic button?

Is it not part of the connector so you would need the whole thing

Yet it is removable/replaceable. Why go through the cost/work of replacing a perfectly good hose?
Does anyone know of a source for just the connector (to scavenge the locking mechanism from)?

Britpart have just brought out a kit of connectors lengths of hose and clips with stiffener inserts for this very problem.

I read about it in a recent LR type magazine I’ll try and find it later and give you at least a part number if there is one in the article.

Managed to find that kit in the end , it’s ref DA2789 , around £87.00
