Fuel line bleed procedure
Just swapped a inlet manifold on the disco 4 3.0tdv6. Just about got it all back together.
Can anyone please tell me the procedure for bleeding the fuel line once all back together before starting the engine up.

Cycle the ign key on 3 or 4 times for 20 seconds each time. Alternatively bridge the pins 3 & 5 at the lpfp relay until it's bled through.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

On the D3, at least, the book procedure is to remove the schrader core from the valve at the back of the engine and to fit a valved extension tube tool. The low pressure fuel pump is then run until fuel, clear of air bubbles comes through, into a container. The pump is run by switching on the ignition for periods of 30 seconds.(It times out if left on continuously).
Practically the valve can be left closed and the pump run for 3 or more cycles until the engine can be started. A middle path can be to depress the valve core whilst the pump is running until fuel comes through. A rag to collect leaked fuel is advisable.
