Fuel Leaking at High Pressure Pump Assembly

I just had my car in at the dealers having the brake booster system replaced (don't ask me how much it cost but I'm seriously annoyed).

After three days with the car, I pick it up and it had two items that they chose to tell me about at the time:

Coolant Leaking from Water Pump Area (OK maybe that'll last until the 168000km service when the belst have to be changed)

Fuel Leaking at High Pressure Pump Assembly Shocked Shocked The service manager didn't seemed to phased by this. But I think it's cause for worry!

This is potentially dangerous isn't it?
 Have a nice day!

Did you ask LR to pay for the booster issue. It is known to them and should be a re-call. On the basis of safety they at least should contribute.

Fuel leak from HP pump is not good, atomised diesel is dangerous.

Is it dealer servicing or an indie?

Dealer Service!

I'll be writing to LR this weekend.

I'm not happy that they saw the leak and did not call me or even suggest immediate rectification.

Good idea Jamo. Thumbs Up
Whilst you are at it I would push them for the brake booster issue. Tell them it is a safety issue to rectify a fault in the design of the vacuum pump.
