Fuel Leak FBH supply
I have a small fuel leak from the small pipe that feeds the Fuel Burning Heater.
There is a joint (I think it's called a VOS connector) mounted on the bottom of the chassis
just above the transmission protection plate.
Cant find it in the workshop manual.
Please does anyone know the name of the connector and possibly the part number.
It looks like about 6mm pipe.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi
Don’t know how much help this will be as mines a D3
Also Found a leak on my FBH fuel pipe, it was 5mm, as the pipes go into the connector the bottom one was metal, top was plastic, I used a mini tube cutter
On the old coupling there are dust covers which have to be removed in order ur able to push the collar in and release the pipe, one end I had to cut off because there was a notch in the pipe
Hopefully it will be the same size
Hope that helps

Isolate the FBH until it is fixed. Quite a few fires have been caused by such leaks.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

I will do as you suggest.
To save time, do you know which fuse to pull or is there a better way?Disco 4 XS 2010 Auto.

Hi
Ur very welcome and hope it’s the same size
Also here is a fuse layout , looks as though the FBH is fuse 2 in the engine bay , as Robbie says ref isolating the heater
Robbie is a lot more experienced than I am so don’t know if it’s a case of just pulling the fuse or something else has to be done
Know the link lists for a LHD but assume the fuse numbers are the same

Fuse is the easiest as the FBH provides the power for the fuel pump, so isolates the fuel supply from that point onwards.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
