As stated above the fuel gauge on my car isn't working so logically I decided that the sender unit must be fault. As I had a fuel pressure issue I decided that I would change the tank with another car that I bought for spares.
Changed the tank today which was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be however the gauge is still not working and it did in the car it was removed from.
Any ideas?

Wiring or faulty gauge. Remove the donor car gauge and try it

No idea if any use, but it's very common in the freelanders, if there is anything on their forums?
