Fuel Burning Heater Reset assistance required |
|
Hi,
I’ve bought a webasto timer for the FBH, I did see the FBH working last winter , but the timer won’t start the burner following instructions posted on this group. I think it must have shut itself down following failed starts.
I have tried the power down trick, but i think it needs the faults clearing.
I live in the North East, apart from the main dealer can anyone recommend an independent who could reset the burner and test fire it, all the independents I have spoken to don’t have the full diagnostic tools.
I do have a kenlowe preheater removed from my D1 so worst case I could fit that, but it seems a shame not to use the fitted FBH.
Thanks in advance

find fuse for FBH in the fuse box nr the battey, If you have the remote use that if not ensure the windows open and you have waited until the handbreak lights out.
press the fire button and wait 5 seconds then remove fuse , refit fuse press the fire button and wait 5 seconds then remove fuse after doing this a 5 times or so I always find the FBH fires up ok.
This method is poted on the site somewhere under FBH problems.
You can have these reset by the webasto dealer. 'Just because you're breathing doesn't mean you're alive'
