You've got it, it just doesn't do what you thought it didn't do Confused

So that's still a bonus !!

If the fuel light's on the FBH doesn't come on even if it's cold (I think) and the engine takes quite a bit longer to get warm, therefore the AC takes longer to cut in.

My main weekday journey is 7 miles to the station. By the time I get there, my D2 is only just up to temp. Going home sometimes she doesn't even get up to temp. Do you know if the FBH will make a difference over a journey as short as this?

You probably won't notice any difference unless you take an hour to get to the station!

LR removed the functionalty of the FBH for yield purposes.................. by removing the timer/remote function they can now charge you extra to retro fit one (aka re-enabling the function in an ECU) thus yielding great profits!
Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300
