ive just booked for a free alignment check with Kwik Fit, apparently they have a Hunter 4 wheel set up there.

im pretty sure it needs some minor adjustment as the steering wheel is slightly off centre but i also want the front balancing as i get some steering wheel wobble at m-way speeds

yeh i dont trust them either, they will probably come back and say i need 4 new tyres, new bushes, and new discs and pads all around.

im no shy retiring customer though so wont suffer fools readily especially when it comes services ive paid out for Very Happy (not THOSE kind of services either!! Laughing )

Had joints checked and it is one of the main bushes on the lower wishbone. All the other bushes ok. It was allowing the wheel to misalign hence tread wear
I am going to fit the new polyurethane bushes on this joint. Fed up of keep buying the complete set for ease of fitting. This way will use the old wishbone and fit bushes into it. Cheaper and better job
Then will have it tracked
Cheers for all info lads..... This site always resolves the issues Thumbs Up

I got my lower arms with poly bush from AF, stiffer ride than OEM but I can live with the firmer ride.

theyve done it, along with wheel balance on the fronts which cured the 70mph steering wheel vibrations for a bit but its still not perfect and the steering wheel still feels slightly off centre to me.
