Arrived yesterday, fitted to-day.
Had to remove the little wings that hang down either side and trim the removeable towing panel a little, but apart from that seems well engineered and more than up to the task.

I tend to leave the cover panel off my car as we use the towing eye/loop quite often for a variety of purposes ( ) - with that removed is there a need to make any further changes to the plastickery, or is it just enlarging the M10s to M12s? Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

From the dealings I've had with Watlings I must say I've been impressed with the way they have dealt with this group buy.
The HD bars are being made to order and expected probably next week

My HD bar was delivered yesterday but due to lockdown and Couriers not delivering to here without at least paying 2 gold bars I'll need to wait until we can travel to be able to pick it up

Sorry to bump an old thread but has anyone an idea whether Waitlings standard or HD front tow bar can be fitted to a D4 with an Uncle Ray sump cover in place?

I've no idea but if it helps
On the D3 you need to use the 2 outside holes of the sump plate, just a case of taking the factory fit retaining nut and bolt off and replacing with an ordinary (supplied nut and bolt). Didn't need to remove the plate for fitting.
The plastic plate covering the tow ring also needs a cut but can be refitted and the cut isn't really visible

Tks very much Sea Raider. I better get underneath and look at the covers fixings. There's 4 from memory.

Just be aware that Watling Engineers have closed down.
I contacted them in the autumn for another product, he was selling anything on the shelf for self fit but no new projects are being taken on.
Well known in the motorhome arena. A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Hi.
I purchased the HD version as part of the group buy but never got round to fitting it.
In original packaging, now for sale on parts page.
Cheers, Dan
