Advice sought on fitting a Front Tow Ball to a D3 - 06 for general trailer manouvering, please. May I assume that since this will be either on private land, or directly from road into my driveway, lights will not br required, but I can wire up an extension if necessary.

tbruk.com do a front 2" receiver mount, I'd imagine this would be ideal as it would make the front towball detachable 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I can't see why lights would be necessary if you're not going to be towing on a public road (unless you could do it in reverse gear at 80mph on the motorway ) 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Can't even manage 5 kph backwards on my tri-cycle, sitting on the handlebars!

V many thanks, just had to phone them to get an English version, as even they can't find it on their own site.
