Front Tow Ball ?

Advice sought on fitting a Front Tow Ball to a D3 - 06 for general trailer manouvering, please. May I assume that since this will be either on private land, or directly from road into my driveway, lights will not br required, but I can wire up an extension if necessary.

Kind regards

Very Happy

tbruk.com do a front 2" receiver mount, I'd imagine this would be ideal as it would make the front towball detachable

I can't see why lights would be necessary if you're not going to be towing on a public road Thumbs Up (unless you could do it in reverse gear at 80mph on the motorway Laughing )

Thumbs Up Bow down
This looks v good, especially as there is a facility for "off-setting" the 'ball to the passenger's side. No more damaged trees, fences, ...

I have asked RLD to look into making one - it would not affect ground clearance - which the other one does by what you can see in the photos.
This is one on a Discovery 1 - https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...59751b.jpg
I want to use it with this - https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...0ab325.jpg
https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...d9f807.jpg
And think it needs to be like this - https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...e95dc0.jpg
When you comapre it to a hidden winch mount it "should" be fairly simple - https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...060256.jpg
RLD is quite busy - anyone handy with a welder?

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green
