Front Spot Recommendations

It's that time, the front spots are done and need replacement. Anybody have any experiences, good or bad, with particular units? TIA.

I'm loving my Lightforce HTX2 lights. HID spots with LED ring for flood. They are pricey but provide light up to 1 mile.

Hi @fusion

They look extremely nice lights , funny enough never seem to hear about KC highlighters anymore

Also planning at some stage to fit some spots, however wondering ref spots or lightbar , already have the dashboard aux lighting isolation switch and connector

I see the dedicated loom that JLR sell for the aux lights are as always eye watering expensive Big Cry

But see the JLR spot light fixing mounts are still available

Following with interest Thumbs Up

They are ridiculously bright lol.

KC HiLiTES are very popular over here, I just installed 3 sets of of their 2 inch C-Series as camping/side lighting for off-roading.

I also know a few people running their Gravity Pro6 LED Light Bar.[/url]

I run a set of those and they are epic! Best of both worlds for flood and long distance spots and yes they are pricey but they are very well tried and tested in extremely harsh conditions Thumbs Up

Any reason you wouldn't consider a light bar on the front, or even with some work behind the grill?

Just a thought to mix things up a bit Wink

Many thks for the link , always remember them years ago useto see them on the rally cars , including Cibie , ie when the infamous Audi Quattro was launched

Personally think I’m going to fit a LED lightbar as see u can get ones that have a combination spot / flood on one lightbar

I was working on the principle of “buy cheap, buy twice”. I also wanted a discreet fitment. Thumbs Up

likewise Rolling with laughter

Did see this and reviews don’t look too bad , seems such a mindfield when it comes to lightbars , haven’t looked at Cree yet , got an A bar for my D3 and wondering if a lightbar would suit it over spots

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LP6...pchoseo-21

Did see this pic a while back ref some discreet lighting
